View eastwards at a small orchard in full bloom. The Lenches are at the heart of the Vale of Evesham Blossom Tours (I saw one coach on my walk this day). Although the advertising is very up-beat, the number of orchards has been declining steadily for a long time (85% lost over the past 100 years) and there is practically no blossom to be seen now on the standard coach routes around here (this orchard is off-route). The villages are still pretty I guess! http://wychavon.whub.org.uk/home/wdc-tourism-see-blossom.htm http://www.wellpict-european.com/24_detailArticle_plum_soft-fruit_local-produce_Asda-fruit_stone-fruit..html
