Beck House was considered by Nikolaus Pevsner to be the best 18C house in the village. The garden front of seven bays is out of sight behind a high wall. Style House is attached on the right (ie to the right of the picture). It is one of the student houses of Giggleswick School and is named after George Style, headmaster from 1869 to 1904.
