The fireclay tiles produced by the Wharncliffe Fire Clay Company can be seen on this building on Devonshire Green in Sheffield. The factory was sited at Hen Holmes in Deepcar (now demolished) using a refractory clay that was obtained from Hunshelf Bank. See Image
