The one on the left has had the name deleted from the plaque, leaving the date 1875. It is now occupied by the 'Cart Wheel' offering tuition in computer skills. On the right is the Providence Congregational Chapel, dated 1822. (For another photo with the new chapel in the background see http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/images/33/84/L338471.jpg ) This became the Sunday School when a new chapel was built in Brook Street in 1883, and is now a funeral director's premises.
