Taken from just east of the '107' spot height facing east. Very expensive houses nestle almost invisibly in the trees on either side of the road. A 'Sir Hugh Gubyon' was Sherriff and Keeper of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1292-4 and although he is associated with Tudhoe in County Durham the name is so rare that there must be some connection here too.
