This large monument can be found on the side of the road. It reads: Raveningham to London - 111 Miles A smaller plaque at the base reads: This monument was erected by Sir Edmund Bacon in 1831 and restored to commemorate the birth of Edmund Anthony Bacon, younger brother of Henry Hickman. MCMLXXXVI
