Looking northwards along the road to the Colwall railway bridge. The signs, large concrete blocks and height bar are all designed to stop large vehicles reaching the chicane beyond (see Image). This was the route out of Colwall for large lorries carrying Malvern Water. Since the restrictions, there have been a lot of lengthy blockages by lorries failing to negotiate the hairpin bends on the B4218 up to Malvern in the other direction.
