This rather crude concrete bridge is of a vintage that predates the recent housing estates on either side and was presumably an "accommodation" bridge for a local farmer or similar. It is now barred to vehicular traffic but provides a convenient link between the two new estates on either side. I found this while exploring the new canal re-instatement works in the area.
