To overcome the horrendous road access problems of Weymouth a new road into the town has been agreed. Of all the different proposals it was the "brown" route that was chosen. This roundabout near Two Mile Copse is where it will join the existing Dorchester Rd out of Weymouth, hence the dead-end arm of the roundabout.
