Ready to pounce on the unwary traveller passing Cross In Hand Farm from King's Thorn to the A49. According to the owner (thank you), his name is 'Idris' and he was carved, in 2004, from a 25 ft trunk of a felled oak tree by Steve Elsby from Vowchurch.
