The plaque (in English and Welsh) reads "Hywel Harries, the revivalist, used this stone as a pulpit at this location, about 1760. In accordance with the wish of the local people it was replaced here in 1993." The stone stands next to a well in the stream (possibly a baptismal well) and across the road from Llanllugan Church.
