Built c1847 as a steam powered worsted spinning mill. As built 11 bays, three storeys with attic, internal end beam engine house and boiler house. Later extended by 5 bays. Now converted to houses. The picture was horribly dull and flat and I've given it a bit more punch. This was one of many sites picked out with aid of Giles and Goodall - Yorkshire Textile Mills 1770-1930.
