Seen from beside Shirehall Park Weir, the river passes under Cooper Road which gives access to Brent Cross for traffic from the A406 and the A41. Below the modern concrete bridge is an older one that was probably built at the time of the construction of the North Circular Road in the 1930's and a pair of pedestrians can be seen walking in the shadow beneath the new bridge. The Brent Cross Gardens office development is behind.
