Taken from the top of Lewes Castle. Barbican House (centre of view) is the Headquarters of the Sussex Archaeological Society and also houses a museum and the society library. It has a fascinating collection of local historic and prehistoric items. Bartholomew House is the delightful three storey town house in the foreground.
