Road sign turned sideways

Not needed at present, this road sign > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/891337 by the B1145 alerts drivers to toads that are crossing the road here during their mating and migrating season. Now that the season is over for the year the sign has been turned sideways and is practically invisible to passing cars. The signs were designed by a national conservation charity called Frog Life which monitors 600 official toad crossing sites throughout the country.
