Rosemound

Rosemound is one of the oldest houses in the modern town of East Kilbride. It is believed to be under a preservation order. For a period it was occupied by O.H. Mavor (James Bridie) the playwright. His family owned an engineering works in the town ( Mavor and Coulsons) manufacturers of mining machinery.
