A bronze statue of a Royal Scots Fusilier, standing in front of Image Inscription reads "To the Glory of God and in memory of the men from the Royal Burgh of Stranraer who gave their lives for King and Country in the Great Wars 1914-18 /1939-45. 'Their name liveth for evermore' ".
