In the background is a car park with access between the dunes to the beach. Consequently, this stretch of the road contains the gift shop, and two amusements arcades; one further on to the left and another out of view in the car park. At the far end are the easternmost set of sand dunes that extend along the coast from the River Rother to the eastern end of Camber village.
