This school was renamed, from Winton Boys' School, to Winton Arts & Media College in summer 2007 when it received official arts specialism. The original Winton Boys' had been in primitive premises in the centre of suburban Winton, and moved to this purpose-built site – alongside its girls' counterpart, Glenmoor School – about a decade ago.
