The church, beside the Hockley Heath to Earlswood road replaced the original Image and associated Image as the meeting place for the local baptist congregation. The building was previously the churchrooms for the Umberslade Baptist Church however when the original buildings were transferred to the Historic Chapels Trust on 13th December 1999 the church moved here . The name was also changed to reflect the fact that whilst the old church and schoolroom are in Warwickshire (Tanworth in Arden), the present church is in the West Midlands (Solihull).
