Day boats at Skipton

Day boats are not provided by many boat hire firms, but can be a great introduction to boating for those who have not previously handled a boat. They are hired for a day only, by a party of appropriate size, and of course do not have any sleeping accommodation, but they do have facilities to make a warm drink. Responsible hirers will be provided with windlasses enabling them to work through locks. You should take a large picnic hamper aboard and head of for a great day's boating.
