Whitchurch Down

This is an unfenced area of gorse and rough pasture grazed by sheep and ponies. As it is situated on the eastern edge of Tavistock it is also very popular with local people. Some of the down area is used as a golf course. This photograph looks eastwards with the hills of Dartmoor in the distance.
