The Green Dragon Hotel, Whiston

The Green Dragon Hotel which stood at the junction of Warrington Road with Dragon Lane adjacent to Whiston Hospital. The inn, stables block and bowling green were demolished in December 2019 after around 200 years of history, the inn was certainly mentioned in The New British Traveller in 1819. Planning permission for a fast food outlet has been denied, future unknown.
