Yelverton is a "crossroads village" situated at the northern edge of Roborough Down. This photograph shows what most people passing through would recognise, the roundabout, wide green, a large hotel and the road to Princetown. There are now many houses hidden away behind the east and west side of the green making Yelverton into quite a substantial village.
