Goods available at this traditional East End market reflect the ethnic diversity of the area: the four large, rough-skinned objects at the front are durian from Southeast Asia, a fruit of which the flavour is heaven and the aroma is hell - to the extent that they are banned from being carried on airlines! For a good summary of their extraordinary qualities see http://www.batplants.co.uk/durianfinal.htm
