This Victorian seafront hotel is being demolished to make way for a retro-styled development of luxury apartments. Sadly the new building will be "sympathetic" to the style of the old hotel which makes no architectural statement. Apparently the Eardley featured in an episode of Men Behaving Badly as the Groyne View Hotel.
