37123 prepares to move an engineers train from the sidings. Crofton is no longer used as a permanent way depot and the sidings leading to the buffers on the right of the photo have been removed. It is now employed as a test and maintenance depot for Voyager units - hopefully providing work for those who lost their jobs with the local colliery closures in the 1990's.
