Looking west across Hedon Town Council Skate Park Facility in the fields on the north side of Burstwick Drain near Drapers Lane. In the 1970s this was an area totally infested with rats. Up ahead is Holderness Grange Retirement Village (not yet on Ordnance Survey maps), which opened in January 2007 but was hit by flooding the following June. A large, official looking sign by the skate park reads: "Hedon Town Council and its employees cannot accept responsibility of liability for any claim, loss or damage whatsoever which may arise resulting from the use of this facility except so far as provided by statue". I looked around for the statue but couldn't find it anywhere.
