Penydarren tramway at Quakers Yard Viaduct

This Tramway (now a Cycleway) was the site of the first ever journey by steam train in February 1804 when Trevithick ran from the Penydarren Ironworks to Abercynon and back. Above it passes the later 1841 Taff Valley Railway.
