DMS1917 climbs away from the bus stop on Hall road. These Daimler Fleetlines were not really suited to the 46 bus route and it was subsequently converted to single deck buses. DMS1917 was withdrawn less than a year after this photo was taken in January 1984 and subsequently saw service with Western Scottish until 1991. information about the DMS type is available on the web from Ians Bus Stop. Also visible in this photo are two yellow perils - Post Office Telecommunications vehicles - as well as a police Austin Allegro in jam sandwich livery.
