The church serving the multi-storey blocks over the road to its south. It is itself surrounded by dual carriageways and car parks. It was extensively by fire in the 1970s but lovingly restored and has a light and airy interior. The Parish was recently united with that of All Saints, Wigan's ancient Parish Church.
