The railway from Swanage to Corfe Castle and Norden is operated by a preservation society. They have some large engines such as the Battle of Britain class Bulleid Pacific No 34072, built 1948, which they hope one day can be used on long excursions, once the link to Network Rail at Wareham has been fully brought into use.
