On the A61 Carlton Road, the left hand building is the former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, now with modern extension and housing the Hambleton Evangelical Church. The middle building was built as a school and is now St Lawrence's Church Parish Rooms. The origins of the right hand building are unclear but styling suggests it could have been the school house.
