Medium-sized undulating fields bounded by low hawthorn hedges containing occasional deciduous trees, typical of this area. The land use is a mix of pasture (mainly cattle with a few horse paddocks) and hay fields. The right-hand field appears to have been recently mown. View from Brindley Lea Lane near the junction with Capper's Lane and Brindley Hall Road, immediately south of Ryders Bank, at a local high point (around 90 metres elevation). The Peckforton Hills are just visible in the distance (centre right)
