This fine building at the corner of Union Street and King Street has had various uses. It is presently part of the J D Wetherspoon pub empire and very popular with students. In the background, across King Street is La Lombarda, which claims to be the oldest Italian restaurant in the UK -- and is strongly recommended by the photographer.
