The view shows maisonettes on Union Road. Beyond, is The Lawn, which comprises a number of fine buildings set amid a large lawn, a rose garden and a children's play area. The main building is run as a conference centre. Worth a visit is the Sir Joseph Banks Conservatory, a hothouse containing exhibits categorised by Joseph Banks.
