The view is northerly. Great Snoring is located by the River Stiffkey and has a population of about 160 inhabitants, with a number of houses being second homes. St Mary's church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/848648 is situated roughly at the village centre, adjoined by the Manor House, now a hotel. The nearest shop and inn are about 3 kilometres distant, in the village of Little Snoring.
