This grade II listed building is said to be a copy of Holy Trinity, South Crosland across the valley Image The two were designed by the same architect a few years apart. Holy Trinity closed in 2024, but Christ Church is still open. The Parochial Church Council recently completed a project to add solar panels to the south-facing roof. The power is used towards the normal church uses, including electric heaters that have replaced an inefficient gas-powered system, and the power used for telecoms antennas in the tower.
