The “high level” station was demolished in 1954, but the low level station survives as a testament to Victorian railway architecture. Opened in 1854, the present buildings date from 1875 and were extensively refurbished in 2002 including the porte cochere (covered porch) shown here. Listed grade 2 (list entry 1064353).
