A public bridleway along a track on Middlebere Heath on the Isle of Purbeck. This bridleway is on route 2 of the National Cycle Network. This image was taken in summer 2026. The south of England had been experiencing a prolonged spell of hot and dry weather. Lack of rainfall had left the ground looking parched.
