The font, originally located at the rear of the church, was donated in remembrance of Mrs. Golden. The interior of the church was extensively rebuilt in the 1980's and the font stands where the memorial chapel to the dead of WWI was located. The memorial chapel altar was removed at that time and all that now remains is the wooden plaque on the wall.
