Former Thornhill Grammar School

Charles Greenwood, Rector of Thornhill, bequeathed money in 1643 for the founding of a school. Partly rebuilt in 1884 but still grade II listed (list entry 1134730). It was later recently used as a community centre but has now been converted to residential use.
