Kelmscott House at 26 Upper Mall, Hammersmith was built about 1780. In 1878 William Morris rented it and lived there for the last 18 years of his life. The William Morris Society has the basement and ground floor as offices and museum. The garden was open as part of Open Garden Squares week-end.
