Chapel Allerton: Ashton Windmill

The mill dates from about 1760 and ceased work in 1927. Now preserved, it is owned by Sedgemoor District Council and is the only windmill in Somerset to retain its sails, machinery and millstones. Public access is permitted on Sundays and Bank Holidays between Easter and September
