One of Scotland's most ancient and powerful symbols, the Unicorn wearing the velvet cap of state and bearing the Lion Rampant, battle flag of Robert I of Scots (The Bruce) sits proud atop the pillar at Preston Cross. This cross is the oldest of its kind still standing on the same site.
