‘Firefly’ at West Links

The brush and shovel balanced on the funnel of ‘Firefly’, an 0-6-0 steam locomotive outside the engine shed on the 10¼ inch gauge Kerr's Miniature Railway at West Links indicates that cleaning and preparation is underway. Firefly was built by miniature locomotive engineer Herbert Charles Stuart Bullock at Farnbrough in 1936 as a Great Western Railway style pannier tank. It was rebuilt in 1945 by Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway engineers as a tender locomotive.
