Close examination reveals puzzling inscriptions on the top and bottom panels: 'Balance is the key to life struggling to keep sane'; and 'To tear it with a knife would make the balance turn to ruin'. Defaced with graffiti and rusting in places, it still throws a pleasant shadow onto the pavement.
