All Saints Church on Putney Common has an unusual number of windows from William Morris and Company. The church itself dates from 1874 when it was built to serve the growing parish of Putney after the arrival of the railway and particularly to provide a place of worship for poorer people as seats would be free and costs funded by collections. This is looking towards the chancel. The church had an open day when the temperature was over 30 degrees and it was pleasantly cool inside.
