At the corner of Station Road and East Street. The memorial has been constructed to remember 21 fishermen from the village who died in a devastating storm off the Norfolk coast in November 1875. Three St Monans fishing boats (Fifies) - Quest, Beautiful Star, and Thane were lost in the storm while returning home. All 21 crew, seven from each vessel, died. The loss left 11 women widowed and 43 children fatherless. The Memorial Garden, designed by Fermin Beltran Dos Santos of Fife Architects, features vessel-shaped pink granite memorial pedestals, one for each boat, engraved with the names of the fishermen lost.
