Opened in 1866 by the Busby Railway which soon became part of the Caledonian Railway, this station is on the line from Glasgow Central to East Kilbride. View south east towards Busby and East Kilbride, a few months after the railway line had been electrified. Compared to Image, a new footbridge had also been provided.
